A game we play.

Before we get to the game I'll post a few pictures. This one is for Katie. We walked by a couple of days ago but didn't have my camera. Today I did. It is good to know where I can get some good dental work in Vietnam if the need arises.
Just right inside the door, about 5 paces from what we would consider the curb. Open wide!

A coffee break for us and bottle break for Hadley. She loves to suck her fingers.

Everybody wants to hold the baby...This woman held her for a good 1/2 hour while Chris and I devoured some authentick Vietnamese spring rolls.
We met up with "Joanie from Bend" on her last day here in Hanoi. It was good to catch up and meet her daughter Emily. Okay, so you know how pregnancy causes your body to do funny things? Well the only thing I noticed during my pregnancy with Stella is that little curl that formed along my right temple. You've probably never noticed it because it is so dry in bend and it lays dormant. It is so humid here that it has come alive.
Okay now to the game. Remember the other day when I posted that we put Hadley in a sling (thanks a lot Amber) and carried her to the market to buy pineapple? Well it was much cooler today that we put long sleeves on her and remembered the hat too. We were walking by the market today and decided we would attempt to redeem ourselves and buy another pineapple while we were there. So we found our "ladies" and pointed out the long sleeves and hat. They got a good laugh and the oldest of the 3 pointed to Hadley's bare feet and communicating in sign language she told us that they needed coverage too. We laughed together, the ladies said hello to Hadley and we bought some more pineapple. Yesterday's pineapple was 5000 dong and today we got 2 for 6000 dong. So, Chris and I thought it would be fun to continue to visit these women each day. Tomorrow we plan on showing up with socks on Hadley's feet....we'll let you know how it goes. I want to know their names so I am going to attempt to speak Vietnamese for the first time.
Happy Birthday Tara...
