Cherie Clark is part of our agency's "Vietnam Team". This woman has made the children of this world her life's work. Most of what I know about her I read in the book she wrote about her experience with orphaned and abandoned children in Vietnam just before the fall of Saigon. She went on to work side by side with Mother Teresa in India. It has been an honor to meet her and I am looking forward to seeing her more over the next couple of weeks.
We went to the Silk Village today to do some shopping. Chris did some tie shopping and I bought some traditional Vietnamese clothing for the girls.
Cherie suggested that we give Hadley a "tea bath" to help with her various skin issues. She sent a Vietnamese man (must get his name) over with tea and with the help of Chris she was bathed in tea. We can already notice a difference. This might be something we do a couple more times if possible.
