Going to Market.

These crabs were wiggling all over the place. This is a big bucket of small crabs. Their shells are about 2 inches wide. Right next to this bucket was a table with 6 or 8 fish literally breathing their last breaths before our eyes.
yeah, that's a pile of dogs. Lanny, any guesses as to what breed we're looking at? Hard to tell without the fur.
This nice lady was selling croissants. We asked if she would take our picture and tried to exchange our camera for the basket of bread. She wouldn't let go of the basket and then the cyclocab driver hopped of his bike and took the camera from us. We let go of the basket and the nice lady was relieved to have her goods back. We felt bad for upsetting her so we bought two croissants for about a buck. Our first street fare. We literally had to squeeze ourselves into the cab seat. We're not sure if it was made for 2...maybe just not 2 americans.
We quickly noticed that the women were doing all the work and the men were sitting on their mopeds watching.

One of many streetside Vietnamese butchers.
